The future star was born on August 7, 1975 in the town of Benoni near Johannesburg. Her parents were farmers and owned a small road construction company. At 6 years old little Charlize start dancing, and when she was 13, the girl was transferred to Johannesburg ballet school, forcing to think about the career of a ballerina.
In 16 years, Charlize, on the advice of his mother, model contest and wins it. Then she goes to Italy to participate in the international modeling contest.
