In the XIX century Russian Cossack named the top women's clothing in the form of a narrow waist and flaring coat with stand-up collar and zipper on the hooks. It was worn as an outer garment and was made from dense and textured fabrics - silk cloth. In some areas of Russian Cossack was part of a man's suit - such dark cloth coats were popular in Ukraine and in the southern provinces.
