Batiste

 Baptiste - lightweight translucent fabric, created in the XIII century French weaver Jean Baptiste Francois and named in his honor. Used for the production of very fine, tightly twisted cotton, silk or linen yarn. There are different types of lawn: printed, solid, bleached, mercerized. From this tissue sew clothes, children's and women's lightweight clothing, men's shirts, handkerchiefs, and also use it as a backing material for silk products.
