Kotardi

 Kotardi - is an element of outer clothing, has spread to Europe in the XIV-XV centuries. It was an elongated jacket, reaching approximately to the knees. Located in the front clasp, usually buttons, but they could replace the laces. Belt over kotardi fastened sufficiently low on the hips. Such clothes sewed with long sleeves that could be the crotch. Kotardi could wear both women and men. In the women's version jacket was usually somewhat shorter.
