Fustanella

 Fustanella - a men's skirt, part of the national costume of some Balkan nations - Greeks and Bulgarians. Isotra this type of clothing dating back to ancient Rome, when a similar skirt dress was part of the emperor. The tradition of wearing it continued in Byzantium. Fustanella usually made of white pleated fabric and comes up to the knees. Unlike the Scottish kilt, it is worn over trousers. In modern Greek army Fustanella became part of ceremonial uniform.
