Zupan - a kind of outer clothing, distributed in Russia, Ukraine and some other regions. The first mention of it belong to the XVI-XVII centuries. In Russian peasants word "Zupan" is often replaced by "his coat" and meant quite a long double-breasted closed garment of cloth rough dressing. In some provinces Counties usually called caftan.
