Gorget

 Gorget - detail of a female toilet, which is a narrow strip of fur that is worn around the neck as a collar. It is important that the gorget not sewn to the garment, and used it as an accessory. It is made from whole skins (with a tail and paws) fur animals: sable, mink, weasel, marten, blue and white fox, silver fox. Can also be made of fluff marabou bird (stork family) or faux fur. Lining usually used silk batting less. Until the mid-20th century gorget was costume jewelery, which could afford only people with large incomes.
